Autocapper

The Autocapper is a versatile electronic applicator that enables friction seals to be quickly and securely applied to both microplates and microtube racks. With a simple design, the Autocapper features a drawer to hold the microplate and cap mat, where an electric motor applies sufficient force to fit cap mats of varying materials to most commercially available deep well plates, and ensuring a reliable and high integrity sample seal. A special feature of the Autocapper is its ability to apply sealing caps to 96 position bar coded microtube racks.

The unit can be bolted down to a bench for extra stability and adaptors are available to enable sealing of shallow well plates.

The Autocapper joins the Matcapper in assisting laboratories improve the reliability and productivity of their sample sealing tasks.
