The XL100 Vial Handling instrument automates re-arraying, sample vial weighing, capping, decapping, vial labeling, and data collection for common laboratory vial sizes. XL100’s robotic pick and place system processes sample vials through barcode readers, balance, decapper, and other on-deck options. After processing the samples, the XL100 software generates output files with tube rack ID, tube barcode, and sample weight.
The XL100’s decapper/capper and automated balance options allow weighing vial “without cap” for determining sample net weights. XL100 tube barcode scanner options work with 1D and 2D barcodes. The XL100 ships configured to handle specific labware and workflow per lab requirements. The XL100 deck can support a range of labware (96 well tube racks, vacutainers, 2mL plastic tubes, 4mL vials, cryo vials, etc). Deck capacity varies with labware, and when the XL100 is configured for SLAS style labware, the deck holds 20 tube racks or vial trays.
Now available with the new tube labeler and decapping options, the XL100 provides a flexible platform for sample re-array, vial decapping/capping, vial weighing, barcode capture, tube labeling, and other common sample management tasks.
The XL100 has all the Features, Auotmation Benefits, Operation, Throughput, Labware Compatibility, and Optional Configurations of the XL200, but has a smaller Compact 26” x 41” footprint with a deck capacity of 20 SLAS type tube racks. To review the Features and Benefits of the XL200, click here.
