The optional four place balance allows one to weigh microtubes and vials to within 0.1mg and can be integrated into the XL9, XL20, XL100, and the XL200.

In addition to the optional four place balance, the XL100 and XL200 can be integrated with a five place balance which can provide automated tube or vial weighing capabilities for a wide range of labware.

A vial decapper option allows for decapping vials prior to weighing or for adding fresh caps to uncapped vials.
